Windows 10: Driver Toshiba Satellite L850-16D

Dear forum users,I have a small problem: I have just had my portable computer fixed by a professional technician, who changed my hard disk after copying all my files, and pasted everything on the new disk. He did a good job and everything seems to work now, unless my mouse, which sometimes works and sometimes not error message is: object in the USB port non recognized, and my touchpad, that does not work at all.I think that I can sort this out by installing a touchpad driver, but I cannot find a driver for a Satellite L850 - 16D computer because, apparently, it is an old model. Does anyone

OK, so it's not browser-specific, but it seems to happen only when you are downloading. That suggests it's related to your Wi-Fi driver, as it was for this thread....

According to Toshiba support you may have either Realtec or Atheros wireless. Which do you have? The latest drivers they list for your model are Win 8.1 for both types. If you put your serial number in here it should tell you the specific type appropriate for your machine.

You may be able to use the Win 8.1 drivers.

You may have had had a driver update recently, it may be that rolling back to the previous driver will help.

My Toshiba L750-16L has Atheros Wi-Fi and works perfectly with the Microsoft-supplied driver.

Toshiba Satellite L655-S5072 audio driver issue

Hi folks!

Have a friend with a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5072 laptop bought around 2009. Device Manager shows a High Definition Audio Device driver.

It has no sound when playing anything from YouTube, however, can use ear buds, and listen to whatever.

Plan to uninstall the High Definition Audio Device driver from Device Manager, then install the proper audio driver. However, can't figure out whether it was bought with a Realtek audio driver, or a Conexant audio driver.

Also, it was upgraded to Windows 10. Toshiba only addresses 2016 Conexant audio drivers.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
