    Hi guys im about to install win 10 on my lenovo laptop, and i need some info about drivers. Lenovo in its own manufactured site has all the drivers but some of them are old, so should i use them or leave windows update install them for me ?!

    In Windows 10, in Device Installation Settings, I see the following question:



    Do you want Windows to download driver software and realistic icons for your devices?



    Yes/No



    The No option allows you to select Always install the best driver software from Windows Update or Never install driver software from Windows Update. In addition, the No option allows you to select or de-select Automatically get the device app and info
    provided by your device manufacturer.



    When the question asks "Do you want Windows to download driver software and realistic icons for your devices?," does the question refer to drivers that appear in Windows/Microsoft Update, or to the background download of any drivers that appear with
    a question mark in the Device Manager?

    Most drivers are provided by the Windows 10 OS. You most likely won't need any drivers. If you need any drivers, you should get them from the Lenovo site because these drivers are specifically written for this model laptops hardware. If there are any updates for the drivers, they will be available from Windows Update.

    First, update all the lenovo drivers from lenovo official site.
    Second, enter device manager and if you find any of the drivers is incompatible, try to uninstall and reinstall it again.

    Download the Windows 10 drivers specific to your model from Lenovo and store away somewhere.

    Windows 10 will either have drivers, or will download them when you install. Then go to Windows updates, possibly some more updates.

    Then check through the Device Manager, branches are usually expanded when there is a problem.

    Drivers do not have to be the latest. It is more important that they work.
