Windows 10: driver updates included in windows update for win 10 64 bit?

hey you guys,


I've got a serious problem with the bluetooth feature in the win 10 CP on my Acer laptop. The spotify desktop app cuts in and out rapidly for 30 seconds, then streams without noise for 1-2 minutes. then the process repeats. the process is completely pattern based and never fails. you can set your watch by it, literally. this happens also when my BT devices are connected to an android phone and the spotify app is playing, but very rarely. but the issue, when it does come up on the phone, happens exactly like it does on the win 10 LT, but the breakage only lasts for 2-3 seconds. I have asked about the issue on another board where many tech professionals help. Here are the 2 relevant threads:

the person helping me is saying that MS's updates, when downloaded from their servers, can contain updates to all types of drivers, like those for tht motherboard, and those updates can cause problems. is this true you guys?

Windows 10 Update

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Win 10 1607 update

Installed the update manually at the the moment everything is bueno.
It seems that Microsoft has a big problem in there update department windows 7 update has problems win 8 update has problems. Windows 10 update is so-so.

 

Win-7 Home Premium 64-bit, fully updated including optional updates can not be upgraded to Win 10

I recently did a clean install of Win-7 Home Premium 64-bit on a 64-bit capable Intel based desktop PC in anticipation of updating to Win 10. After loading all updates including optional updates (and the KB for Win 10 reservations), I never got the Win
10 flag. Install was from a purchased Microsoft DVD with Win-7 Home Edition 64-bit including SP-1. Win-7/64 is activated and Microsoft reports it as genuine.

I used the Windows Troubleshooter with the Get Windows 10 website and it reported that my PC is running 'Windows 6.1 which is what, Windows 95? and an amd64 architecture for my Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor equipped motherboard. I have a second PC with
identical (down to every board and device) that did the reservation process without incident and in fact this PC when running Win-7 Home Premium 32-bit edition also had a successful reservation that was of course lost when the OS upgraded to 64-bit.

I have roamed around on various sites looking for ideas but none seem to match my situation. I assume there is a 64-bit version of Win 10 available (LOL).

I am out of ideas. I appears that there is a problem with Get Windows 10 process and the associated Windows Troubleshooter. Screenshots are available if required.
