    Driver Verification Dump File. Help!

    Dear Microsoft community,

I have had several issues in the past few weeks concerning my system:

    OS Windows 10 Home

    Dell Inspiron 7720 i7 - 3630QM @ 2.4GHZ

    8 GB RAM

    Nvidia Geforce 650M 4 GBDDR3

    256 SSD

Firstly i will note that I rarely overload the workload on my PC, except when I use the only game I play Dota 2.

This game has been in complete working order for a long time. Until a couple of months ago when I started receiving BSOD crashes:

    Stop Code: VIDEO TDR FAILURE

    What failed: nvlddmkm.sys

This crash has happened only when in-game. Fortunately at the time a Windows Update appeared, Downloaded and Installed.

The problem did not occur again until the game was recently updated.

    Ever since I have:

    Updated Drivers from official websites.

    Updated Windows.

Changed settings to lowest in game quality.

Downloaded Nvidia Experience for another check on driver updates and game optimization.

Reinstalled Windows 10 on a new SSD(I was preparing for some time to changed from HDD to SSD), downloading all new drivers and the problem still persists.

Finally I have tried to locate the driver problem using DRIVER VERIFICATION. Once restarted the system crashed immediately as expected with the driver verification running. Yet the DMP file suggests the crash was caused by driver NETwew01.sys+db7d8 . I have
uploaded the dump file on the following link:

Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

So on one hand I believe its a software issue causing the crash, but it feels like my hardware is giving up.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    Driver Verification Dump File. Help!

    Hey DaveM121

System easily managed to crash again, uploaded DMP file on the following link:

    DMP

    Thanks!!

EDIT: With the previous Driver Verification process I had to restore Windows to a previous version, when the system recovered I checked for Driver Verification it was off.

The latest crash happened 20 seconds after launching the game.

    Need help analyzing dump file.

If your computer crashes, how can you find out what happened, fix the issue and it prevent it from happening again? You may find the small memory dump file useful in this situation. The small memory dump file contains
the smallest amount of useful information that could help you identify why your computer crashed. The memory dump file contains the following information:
    • The Stop message, its parameters and other data
    • A list of loaded drivers
    • The processor context (PRCB) for the processor that stopped
    • The process information and kernel context (EPROCESS) for the process that stopped
    • The process information and kernel context (ETHREAD) for the thread that stopped
    • The Kernel-mode call stack for the thread that stopped
To create a memory dump file, Windows requires a paging file on the boot volume that is at least 2 megabytes (MB) in size. On computers that are running Microsoft Windows 2000, or a later version of Windows, a new memory
dump file is created each time that a computer crash may occur. A history of these files is stored in a folder. If a second problem occurs and if Windows creates a second small memory dump file, Windows preserves the previous file. Windows gives each file
a distinct, date-encoded file name. For example, Mini022900-01.dmp is the first memory dump file that was generated on February 29, 2000. Windows keeps a list of all the small memory dump files in the %SystemRoot%\Minidump folder.

The small memory dump file can be useful when hard disk space is limited. However, because of the limited information that is included, errors that were not directly caused by the thread that was running at the time of
the problem may not be discovered by an analysis of this file.
