  1. Driver Warning

I have been getting a warning message on and off for some time now about a driver I am trying to install not being signed. I have 2 options: don't install or install anyway. The thing is I don't know what the driver is. There is nothing in the warning to indicate what it is or anything. When these messages appear, I haven't been actively trying to install anything. That doesn't mean an update isn't happening in the background by an application, but again, nothing to help me figure it out. I have scanned for viruses and malware and those come up negative. And yesterday, I manually went through a Windows update, and this morning, the message was there again.

How can I figure out what driver is trying to install?

    :)

  3. Paragon Driver for Windows

    Hi Davi,

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I understand the inconvenience caused to you. I will be glad to assist you with your issue.

Windows 10 requires all the drivers up to date. If your External HDD is not working on Windows 10 then I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to update the chipset drivers from the manufacture’s website and check if it helps.

Step 1: You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

Follow the steps to update drivers from the
    Device Manager
    :

    • Right click on Start button, type Device Manager and Enter.
    • Find the drivers which needs to be installed and also see if there are any warning symbols. If yes update the drivers.
    • Right click and click on Properties, and go to
Driver tab and click on Update driver.

If the issue still persists, try to install drivers in Compatibility mode and check.

    Step 2: Refer the steps:

    a. Download the Drive from the manufacture’s website, Right click on the setup file and select Properties.

    b. Click the compatibility tab, tick the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows.

Let us know if the above information helped you. For further assistance feel free to post your queries in Microsoft forums. We will be glad to assist you.

    Thank You.

  4. Driver Warning

Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
    2. Select or click Ease of Access.
    3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
    4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
    5. Check if issue is resolved.
    Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
