    DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG


    My laptop is working fine and suddenly a windows update pops when I'm shutting down my laptop. So upon shutting down it starts updating itself until it says "Download failed". And think that it was some kind of error so I let this thing shut itself and wait to boot it up. But upon restarting, It took too long to boot which is unsually for my laptop to boot because windows was installed on my nvme ssd and says "driver pnp watchdog. I try to find answers everywhere from youtube to google and I think I messed up. At my current state my laptop still show pnp watchdog error and I cant even install a new windows 10. Because upon installing windows, automatic restart was required but screen doesnt show anything at all. Please help!

    DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG When updating to version 2004

    I have a Dell XPS 15 from 2016. I tried to update to version 2004, but every time it just keeps giving me a stop screen with the stop code DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG .

    driver_pnp_watchdog error

    Hello,

    Today I tried updating to the latest version of Windows 1803 and a BSOD saying DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG appeared after 42% of the installation was complete. After the failed attempt it rolled back to previous version of the OS.

    My current version is 1703 (I can't update to 1709 due to a different error).

    After some research I've found that there maybe be a key to a solution in a file named setupmem.dmp located in C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Rollback.

    I don't know how to view this type of file but I can provide a link to it on Google Drive.

    DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG

    STOP CODE: DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG

    I have been trying to install the update 1809 but when my computer was restarting, the Blue screen of Death appeared with a code "STOP CODE: DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG". However, I pressed the power button then and my computer restarted normally with an announcement
    in the "Checks for updates" : failed to update. How can I fix it ? Thank you so much!
