Hi I got blue screen of death while shutting down my pc

( It shows shutting down and after about 5 to 10 minutes blue screen of death )


updating bios graphic card sound card lan ,etc did not work

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, 0x0000009f afer wakeup


hi,
recently ive been getting [table][tr][td]DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE[/td] [td]0x0000009f[/td] [/tr] [/table]

after wakeup from sleep. Two new things have happened before it started, but dont know if its connected.

updated to insider 17744.1003 and updated intel driver to 24.20.100.6286.

Any clues whats going on?

Hi there,

I have recently experienced an issue where my desktop crashes and restarts just as it enters sleep (occurring maybe 30% of the time). Debugging shows that this is as a result of a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (bugcheckcode: 0x0000009f). Reading elsewhere suggests
this happens due to a particular driver, so I tried updating my Nvidia, Intel wireless, and chipset drivers to no avail.

Unfortunately, bluescreenview and WhoCrashed only report the kernel task ntoskrnl.exe as the culprit so it has been hard to pinpoint what exactly is causing the problem.

Would appreciate any advice on resolving this.

Hi, I have the same error code with general computer use or gaming.
