Ok, it seems the problem is not solved at all... I got two bluescreens since the driver's update. The system was just running the installer of a game and after an 1 hour or 2, it randomly restarted. When I got back home and checked on it, it restarted again after only 5 minutes I had turned it back on. Here are the two analysis and the two dump files, if you have the time to check on them.

From the analysis I get two questions:

Why does it recognise "Windows 10" as OSNAME when I'm running Windows 11?
Does storahci.sys refer to SATA and SSDs or I got it all wrong?

    Thanks a lot Dave

  3. driver_power_state_failure nt!TRIAGE_9F_POWER Win 10

I keep having frequent BSODs all with the 'driver power state failure' description. It has been happening for a good while now. It has destroyed my HDD because of the frequent crashes and I recently replaced it with an SSD and the problem is still occurring.
I've tried all the suggestions I could get from the internet. However, I recently decided to check for a dump file for the BSOD and found it. I will attach a link to it and any help in the analysis and suggestions would be good. Running Win 10, Acer Aspire
    ES1-132

Please perform the following steps: (in sequence)

    1) Run these bat scripts and post share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    Tuneup plus

    Gather additional dump files

(bat scripts by default prompt antivirus software and require manual overrides)

    https://www.tenforums.com/attachmen...-files-use-bsod-debugging-tuneup_plus_log.bat

    https://www.tenforums.com/attachmen...od-debugging-gather_additional_dump_files.bat

Batch files for use in BSOD debugging - Windows 10 Forums (tenforums.com)

    2) Turn off Windows fast startup:

Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com)

    3) Open device manager > click view > click show hidden devices > manual expand a rows > look for any row displaying a yellow triangle with back exclamation mark or unknown device > post images or share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    4) Make a new restore point:

Create System Restore Point in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com)

    5) Read this link on Window Driver Verifier (WDV):

Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com)

Learn the methods to recover from using the tool by booting into safe mode and running one or more of these commands:

    verifier /reset

    verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

    Start WDV with these settings:

    a) Test all non-Microsoft drivers

    b) Test no Microsoft drivers

    c) Start the testing with the 3 customized tests displayed in the Ten Forums link

Plan to run WDV with various customized test settings for 24 to 48 hours as needed.

    6) If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

    verifier /querysettings

Post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    7) For any BSOD post a new V2 share link into the newest post.
