Windows 10: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FALIURE

About 2 weeks after I installed windows 11 which was about a month ago I started randomly getting BSoDs with the error code DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FALIURE. I always have had regular BSoDs that would happen about once a week with error codes such as MEMORY_MANAGEMENT or UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION. These would only happen when I turn on my laptop An Acer Nitro 5. These BSoDs stopped for the 2 weeks after I installed windows 11 and then came on with the new one. The DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FALIURE BSoDs happen randomly when I'm using the computer and when I'm about to get one the fans start spinning r

Win 10 USB Install Failing


Ok, so I was trying to turn on the computer, and it said it has run into the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FALIURE. It first showed the boot screen and said "Starting Automatic Repair" now it says "Diagnosing your PC"

 

Driver power state failure

I have the same issue since Fall Creators update, and the same laptop Asus Rog GL 553VD.

Whenever i play games such as lol/wow etc and if i tab out for more than 1min, i get the driver_power_state_faliure bsod.

I've downloaded driveryeasy and updated like 18 old drivers including the intel graphics 630 which i thought was the cause.

But i'm still getting the bsod and i'll probably revert back from fall creators if i don't find a fix soon.

 

BSOD When going into sleep. ntoskrnl.exe, 0x0000009f


I have had Windows 10 since the day it was released (upgrade from Windows 7 HP) and it has been great. However, I am having a very annoying and seemingly random problem when putting the computer into sleep mode. The computer appears to be going into sleep but then stays on longer than usual, with HDD activity (the light flashes), and then, after a while (usually 3-4 minutes) shuts off. Tapping on the keyboard/moving the mouse reveals that the computer indeed shut down instead of sleeping. I have spent a great deal of time trying to figure this out, changing device power management, messing with power plans to no avail. I'm hoping someone around here can help me figure this out. The bluescreen is DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FALIURE, "seems to be caused by" ntoskrnl.exe, with Bug Check code 0x0000009f.
