Drivers are all up to date BIOS, Thunderbolt driver and application. Am I looking for the wrong thing, anything else I can try?

    Thanks in advance...

    :)

    • Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?

DRIVER_STATE_POWER_FAILURE 9F after putting laptop into sleep

    putting laptop to sleep

Go to Control Panel/System and Security/Power Options

You can adjust times as desired. Default will automatically turn computer off from Sleep after certain period if not adjusted.

What the IT person may have meant, is to put the laptop in Sleep mode if you intend on resuming use after a certain period instead of turning on/off at each use.
