    DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION stop code


    I just finished assembling my new system ASUS Maximus z690 Extreme, Intel i9-12900k, ROG Strix RTX3090, Vengeance DDR5 5600Mhz 2x16Gbs, Samsung 980 PRO Series-2TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 SSD and Samsung 970 PRO Series-1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 SSDFirst thing I did was upgrade the BIOS ... which worked successfully according to the UEFI. Next, I created a bootable USB drive with the Win 11 OS, and attempted to boot to it ... I got this message:Your device ran into a problem, and needs to restart: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATIONI have tried everything ... unplugging all external drives only things attached

    Constant BSOD. Stop code: Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation

    I regret to inform you that the BSOD has occurred again with the stop code Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation. Would you also need the dump for that too? It is in the same folder as the others.

    Constant BSOD. Stop code: Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation

    I have been having constant blue screens with the stop code of Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation. I have checked in BlueScreenView and it says from the dump that the blue screen is caused by HAL.dll . Parameter 1 is "00000000`00000026".

    C. Recommendations

    1. Create a system restore point first so that if something wrong happens you can revert.

    Type restore point in Cortana Search > Create a Restore point > Check whether against your drive, Protection is ON or not. If not ON, click Configure button below to Make it ON > Now press Create to create a restore point

    2. Update your AVAST to latest. If BSOD doesn't stop, get rid of AVAST.
