Windows 10: Drivers are gone?

Lenovo Ideapad 5 -15ILL05 81YKOS: Currently Windows 10 20H2 as I had to use a recovery key. My laptop recently had its screen replaced and shortly after the updates all rolled through after it being non functional for about 6 weeks, I lost access to both my precision touchpad and touchscreen.. I have reached out to both Lenovo support and Microsoft/ Windows to no avail. They have me do a backup, then clean install and then see if the drivers have been repaired, they will not change or update even with the clean install. I’m seriously stumped. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Directx 12 on Windows 10 is gone

Try the following steps and check if it helps:

Step 1:

I suggest you to check the DirectX Version installed on your system.

Follow the below steps to check the DirectX Version:

• Press Windows key + R from the Desktop.
• Type dxdiag and hit Enter.
• Check the DirectX Version.

Step 2:

I suggest you to update the Graphic driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R on the Keyboard.
• Type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Select Graphic driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then install the latest graphic driver from the manufacturer and check if it helps.
