Windows 10: Drivers are missing and have errors after Windows 11 update

I own a Lenovo IdeaPad 3, and I used to run Windows 10 Pro I purchased a code, this isn't native on my PC; don't know if it matters. Wanting to test the 11 Pro beta version, I upgraded and as soon as I did, the touchpad stopped working.On the device manager, the is a new section called Keyboards, with two Lenovo Keyboard Device, one of which has an error mark. The touchpad driver formerly HID Complient Touchpad driver - or something similar is not totally missing.The device manager finds no driver updates, as does Windows Update, as does Lenovo Vantage from where Lenovo updates the BIOS a

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......

Follow the below to find out the latest update on your device:

• Press Windows + X, click on Programs and Features.
• Click on View installed updates from the left pane.

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check with the device status for drivers with yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.

2. Expand
DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the driver.

3. Click on Properties
and check the device status.

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the error codes for the drivers from the below Microsoft article, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned and check if it helps.

Step 3: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.

Windows 1709 update on my desktop 11-16-2017 driver failure

There are possible reasons why your Wi-Fi is not available after upgrade to Windows 10:

• The Wi-Fi or the wireless adapter driver is not updated and not compatible with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update/Creators Update/Anniversary Update. In some cases, the Wi-Fi driver is missing after Windows 10 update. In this case, we suggest updating the
  driver of your network device. Generally speaking, updated drivers deliver better functionality and improved performance. For the most part, you certainly want to upgrade your drivers unless you have a very specific reason for not wanting to do so. To perform
  the task, simply follow the steps provided by Andre Da Costa on this
  
  link. If the update does'nt work we suggest switching back to version 1703.
  
• If reinstalling Wi-Fi drivers doesn't help, the problem may be triggered by unsupported VPN software present during the Windows 10 upgrade. If you have an old VPN client, it's certain that the piece of software is what is causing the no internet connection
  issue on Windows 10. In this case, we suggest removing the VPN software temporarily to isolate the concern. If the suggest step doesn't work, we suggest to switch back to 1703.
