Windows 10: Drivers continue to stop working

I've been having some problems with random stuff with my laptop HP envy x360. First it was the fingerprint scanner that suddenly stop working, then I couldn't connect my mouse via bluetooh, then I couldn't connect to my smart TV and now I can't connect my phone via cable and all because the drivers stoped working and I can't update them. And I think is related to windows update. I've read that some people experince similar problems after windows updates and the first driver stoped after one and the last one also. I tried to download the drivers from HP website and install them, no change.

The drivers should work... I'd suggest throwing it to Pagalms or the GTX 260/280 teaser driver thread... I know there is a list somewhere for it. All you need is the modded .inf file. But, Driver 177.66 don't need the modded .inf... Just go to Guru3d and grab them and install.

I suggest you to follow the methods below if the DVD drive is not detected and check.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the DVD drive drivers check if it works for you. Follow the steps to uninstall the DVD drive drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Right-click on the DVD drive listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset drivers.

  Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
