    Hi. I bought a refurbished HP Elite PC the other day and everything seemed to work OK. I remember I had to pay the seller an extra A$10 to have WiFi installed in the last minute!

    Anyway, I have since tried to get the camera and microphone to work but I cannot get the problem solved. Maybe they are not even installed? Please, can anyone help?

    USB Mic Problems.


    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

    The best solution I suggest is totally remove mic and webcam drivers...Then head to official website and get the latest ones..

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
