    Drivers issues after restoring the OS?


    Good evening! So I restored the OS a few weeks ago and reinstalled all the pertinent drivers. HOWEVER! as the gods of fate and destiny cant make things easy, there seems to be one driver that keeps messing things up and making the whole system crash and bluescreen me all over the face.

    Chkdsk /F Has no effect.

    All upgrades are kinda up to date (no pun intended) and by Kinda I mean: all updates are up, but there's a "2020-9 update for win10 version 1909 (KB4574727)" that I can't install normally or manually, due to an error "0x800f080a"

    The built-in troubleshooter doesn't find anything, System File checker also finds nothing.



    Is there any way to figure out what driver is provoking this?

    RAM Issue

    Formatting the OS is a last hope effort that often does not work - especially with hardware issues as the same hardware is still attached and typically the same drivers are used. Not to mention all downloads, program installs, and personal data is lost and needs to be reinstalled or restored. And restoring often restores the problem. Even if a format does work, nothing is learned to prevent recurrence.

    5 reboots in a row with no problems does not suggest an OS problem.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    I tried this, but Driver Restore is not in the list of programs that can be unistalled.
