    AMD Posts Catalyst 13.8 Beta, Fixes CrossFire Frame Latency

    not fixed, but better

    Several hardware sites like Hardware Heaven and Hardocp looked at this driver and said, while a step in the right direction, it's a long way from fixed. Caveat emptor!

    Wdf01000.sys Latency - Windows 10

    Hi Bowzin, after two days searching I (think) finally solved it, my highest latency is 0,49ms now. 1) Download Driver Booster 5 and update all drivers, even if you have done this manually at device manager. BIOS, mouse, everything.

    2) I followed all steps at Audient web page regarding latency: power plan, HD and SSD properties, etc.

    Thats it, I now plan to reduce it even more, but this is a huge step. I made several test while updating drivers and each time it threw a different driver problem with latency above 1,5ms.

    AMD Posts Catalyst 13.8 Beta, Fixes CrossFire Frame Latency

    Hardocp review is useless and has no rep, at least for me.
    They measure the latency in fraps (which was explained by many people has being totaly misleading in frame latency measures), and they should measure it with FCAT as provided by Nvidia to some reviewers.
    I let you have a good read at Guru3d as they have the FCAT and have some acurate results: AMD Framepacing Catalyst 13.8 driver examined with FCAT
