Windows 10: Drivers update mess!

Recently I've reset factory windows10, now I'm trying to update drivers , got them from the laptop's manifacturer and I don't know where to start, what goes first? bios won't enable update option, either make flash or copy.why is this happening? how can I be sure drivers are up to date.? device manager shows some weird info like version dated back to 2006 and when I chose to find updates says windows think this version is the updated pne and better for the device. nothing shows regard it on windows updaye either. there were a few ones optional updates, installed all of them but then I remembe

Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
• Expand the Touch pad driver.
• Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
• Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
