Windows 10: DRM Encryption button not working in Outlook

Dear Support,


I'm forwarded to you from the Office 365 Support team Ticket #:18352939, so please don't sent me back to them since they can't repair the Outlook installations on my Windows Machine.

The Office 365 support team conclude my issue as following:
"Since the encryption is working properly on another pc's Outlook client using your profile, this is not a systemic issue with Office 365. You may need to engage Windows support to assist further with this issue, as it is most likely a problem with the registry on this particular pc."


The Issue:
The encryption options are available in new messages, BUT there are two different results:
- File > Encryption > Options are available.
- Ribbon Options > Encryption > Options are NOT available.

The issue is the last one.


The workarounds that we have done:

- Reset User profile folder and add Outlook account --> Doesn't fix

- Uninstall Office completely with script and reinstall from Office 365 Portal --> Doesn't fix

- Reproduce issue on another WIndows device --> No issue at al, the options are visible.



How can I fix the Ribbon Options > Encryption > Options WITHOUT re-install Windows 10 Enterprise 1903?


According the Office 365 support could this be a Registry thingy.


Can you help me to fix this issue?

Since that, you're receiving an "Access Denied" error message when trying to reset DRM, we suggest restarting your computer in Safe Mode and log in as the computer administrator. To boot your PC in Safe Mode, please click

here.

Once your PC is in Safe Mode, Reset Windows Media DRM by deleting all the files in the Windows Media DRM folder. Note that the Windows Media DRM folder is a hidden system folder. To view hidden files and folders, follow
these steps:

• Click Start, and then click My Computer.
• On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the
  View tab.
• Click Show hidden files and folders, and then click to clear the
  Hide protected operating system files check box.

Here's how to locate and open the DRM folder:

• Press Windows+R.
• Type regedit and press Enter.
• Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DRM\DataPath
  folder.
• By default, the path is displayed in binary format. To see the path in plain-text format, double-click
  DataPath.
• In the Edit Binary Value dialog box, the location of the
  DRM folder is at the column on the right.
• Select all the files in the DRM folder and press the
  Delete button.
