    This is my Dad's Issue. . I am visiting him I live 4 hours away. but am here for four days to assist him. hoping to find a quick fix. He states "I am having a issue with drag and drop on my desktop. This happens say 50% of the time. I'll explain best i can of the issue. When I hold the Left Mouse Button LMB on my mouse and hold it down, then drag the window to another monitor using 3 extended monitors and release the LMB and its suppose to keep that window on the monitor. the curser is still on the window and I just move my mouse, the window still moves. its not released. Same thi

    Drag and Drop

    Hi Charles,

    the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

    In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

    Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

    My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

    Cannot Drag and Drop into Edge

    • I have been on Win 10 and Edge since June 2016.
    • I was able to drag and drop files in a SP2013 document library until today.
    • I tried it with OneDrive with the same result. I can no longer drag and drop to upload files.

    Repeat: Drag and drop worked in my SharePoint 2013 libraries and OneDrive until today.

    Was there a recent Win 10 or Edge update that may have broken drag and drop?

    Cant Drag & Drop in Certain Apps.

    I cant drag & drop files in certain applications.

    • Browsers will no longer let me drag a url into the toolbar or on the desktop.
    • Photoshop, etc. . will no longer let me drag and drop files into other files.

    This is driving me insane & taking alot of time. Any help would be great. (I have another machine running everything the same with no problems)
