Windows 10: Drop-Down Menus not opening on xflr5 on Windows Home 11

Discus and support Drop-Down Menus not opening on xflr5 on Windows Home 11 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I installed xflr5 as a program, however when I went to click on one of the drop-down menus, the menu icon appears but there are no options that drop...     Drop-Down Menus not opening on xflr5 on Windows Home 11


    I installed xflr5 as a program, however when I went to click on one of the drop-down menus, the menu icon appears but there are no options that drop down. I click on it and still no options drop down. I believe this is a windows UI issue and not a xflr5 issue as I have seen a similar problem with a different program. I am using Windows Home 11. How do I fix this?

    Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

    Well.. have a look at this:

    I took a risk. I've set a System Restore point then installed Gold Wave. It was not present in that Open With list. I used the Default Programs Editor:

    Did you click Save...? You should have seen:

    Note: if you are running as a standard user you may need to run it as admin, if it doesn't offer a UAC prompt.

    Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

    OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2 Diagram 'A' shows Windows' suggested programs Diagram 'B' shows the extended list I have been trying to edit the context menu's "Open with" list of Windows' suggested programs for the .mp3 extension. I'm not talking about the extended list, but rather the programs that first appear 'before' the "choose another app" option. If you look at Diagram 'A' you will see the preliminary list generated by Windows, this is the list I am looking to modify. I have an .mp3 editor named Goldwave that I use for editing audio files, however, I do not want to change the preliminary program Windows uses to open .mp3s. My .mp3s should remain assigned to Winamp Player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

    Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
    Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
    Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

    NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
    But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?
