    I installed a security script off of github and upon locking the screen or sleeping, it now requires me to press ctrl alt delete to wake up the screen. I tried removing it by looking up online sources and disabling the "require username and password to login" as well as putting the value "1" in DisableCAD in regeditor. Now I cant login on my laptop because the login shows Other User instead of my main user me. I badly and urgently need to access the laptop now due to mu dissertations. How do I open it? As far as I know I didnt add any other user nor do I know any username/password for it.Lap

    :)

    App activity when ctrl-alt-del screen lock is on

    using Win10 education version
    when a user is logged on to a network, can apps that are in use still communicate out to the network when the user locks the screen with ctrl-alt-del to step away from their computer for a few minutes?

    Lock screen is black, has to use Ctrl-Alt-Del

    Sometimes when I try to wake from sleep, the lock screen does not show up and I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to force to the login screen , not the lock screen. The login screen has name, profile picture and password.

    Ctrl+Alt+Delete password entry from turned-off screen always results in incorrect password

    I'm not quite sure what that means but I discovered if I hit Esc first then wait for the background to turn on, I can then hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete to type in my password.

    This takes longer and is more steps than Windows 7, XP, 2000, 98, and 95 which was just to hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete then type the password to log in.

    I don't know why Microsoft added steps and made it take longer.
