Windows 10: DTS X not working on ASUS TUF GAMING F15 Laptop

Hi, how is everything today?Anyways, I have an issue where whenever I try to use DTS X Ultra for my laptop, it doesn't seem to be working at all. I've tried everything I could including updates and even updating my bios but had no success at all. Another thing that I'm having an issue with is the DTSAPO4SERVICE thing in the task manager. I then go to "OPEN SERVICES" and went to the driver. I tried to press "AUTOMATIC" but every time it does it, the task seems to stop entirely after a few seconds, getting me literally nowhere.I hope you guys can find a way to fix this issue.Thanks for reading t

Asus TUF F15 FX506HCB DTS X: Ultra not working

Hi all,

I'm creating this thread because from all my searches I found post that are related to DTS X: Ultra won't work completely even for build in speakers but my issue is as below.

A month ago I bought Asus TUF F15 FX506HCB. I'm have a strange problem with DTS X: Ultra. For Wired device (JBL Tune 110) & Build in speakers DTS X: Ultra works fine (it seems). For BT devices (JBL Flip 5 & Nokia TWS T3110), I get prompt "Please connect external speakers to use DTS audio controls. Please connect a Headphone to use DTS audio controls" (as attached image. This is taken from internet but issue is exactly the same). Even DTS X: Ultra is not showing in Spatial audio formats not for Wired, Wireless & Build in speakers.





Does DTS X: Ultra won't work for wireless devices? even it doesn't, may be spatial audio should work for wired devices right? (what I understand from my Googling).

I haven't tried HDMI audio routing.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Asus Tuf Gaming F15 Wi-fi problem

I am not a very technical guy, but I had the same problem. I went to ASUS TUF Gaming F15｜Laptops For Gaming｜ASUS Global, picked my specific model - and downloaded the drivers related to network/wifi. It was called "MediaTek WLAN Driver" - after this the wifi cutouts stopped happening.

Hope this works for anyone else

EDIT: This worked for a solid 24 hours before it reverted back to its old self. After this in the towel and have now reset my PC and it is working good so far.

 

Wifi Driver now goes missing on (ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506LH)

Have you tried installing the driver using the installer provided on the support page of the Asus website?

I noticed that the WiFi on this computer can be from MediaTek or Intel. So install both drivers and see if the adapter will work.
