Windows 10: dual boot enterprise and pro versions of win 10 build 10162

Im in the insider program and somehow ended up with the enterprise edition---I want to install the pro version --ideally dual boot ..

What is the best way to do this? I am downloading new iso now.
Can I run the setup from within win 10 and have option to install on different partiton? resulting in dual boot
Or do i need to create boot disk from iso and install that way? In either case I want to end up dula boot so I Have time to migrate -reinstall my apps over from enterprise to pro version?

or better yet anyway to overwrite enterprise with pro at the same time maintaining settings and apps?

Windows 10 Build 10162 won't install.

Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview does require a activation key. It is available from the Microsoft ISO download site. Version 10162 will not complete the "clean" install. It goes all the way to a pale blue screen with spinning dot icon and the words "wait
a few moments" and it never clears. I have a dual-boot setup with Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview version 10074 that installed and is working fine on the same hardware... Version 10162 tries to install automatically inside Windows 10 Enterprise Insider
Preview version 10074, but it reports "trouble installing" and we'll try again later

 

Can I upgrade to Windows 10 when I installed the technical preview using Boot Camp from OS X?

So I have just installed Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10162 on my 13" MacBook Pro with Retina display directly from Boot Camp Assistant with all the required drivers, it runs perfectly smooth currently. Can it be upgradeable to Windows 10 from July
29 just from installing the Technical Preview using Boot Camp? Thanks for reading the question and hopefully you could answer it.

MacBook Pro with Retina display 13" Mid 2014

3.0GHz Intel Core i7 dual-core processor

16GB RAM

Mac OS X 10.10.4 as Mac OS

Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 10162 as Windows OS

 

Why would you want to dual boot? The enterprise and pro versions are identical, except Enterprise has a few more features. In other words, Enterprise has all that is in Pro... it makes no sense to dual boot.

 

because of the licensing--enterprise will require special windows volume license

yes i know--but when it goes out of preview mode I will have to have microsoft voulume license

 

That makes no sense. You will still need the license if you're going to dual boot.

 

i wont use the dual boot if i get the pro working properly

 

Clean install the Pro version

 

I installed from boot usb and now have dual boot pro and enterprise---works perfectly
