Windows 10: Dual Boot Win 10/11 Ethernet Problem

Hello Dear Community,Recently I have Installed Windows 11 onto a New HD which is running in my System as Dual Boot configuration with my old Win 10 System.On the Win 11 installation I am able to connect to the Internet without issues, but since installing it I am unable to access the Net from the Win 10 installation. I have tried a bunch of different things with no avail. The computer is connected via ethernet with a Netgear 6150 Wifi Extender which is connected to my home router. I think its an Issue with DHCP but also I have no Idea since I am practically a noob.Here are my Iponfig logs:Win

Win 7 / 10 Dual Booting Ethernet Problems

I

-Use Win 7

-Recently decided to dual boot with Win 10

-Have gotten to a stage of seeing a Win 10 desktop

-No internet connection via ethernet

-Check device manager

-No ethernet network adapter in this existence

-Boot back to win 7

-It's right there

-Boot back to win 10

-It's pulled a disappearing act again

-Try installing drivers

-"Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) adapters are present in this computer"

-Boot back to win 7

-Yes there are Intel adapters

-Here I am asking on the forums

TLDR: Ethernet works fine on win 7 but when i boot to win 10, the adapter doesn't even register as a device

What is my problem and how do I fix it?

Help with dual booting Win 10 and Ubuntu

This is your whole problem. What you should have done is to put GRUB in sdb1 and Windows Manager in sda1 so that Windows Boot Manager is in control.
So what suggested above will not make any difference. GRUB is still in control of booting process.
To fix your problem. You will need to:

1. Move GRUB from sdb to sdb1
   |grub2 - how to move grub boot from one partition to another in linux - Ask Ubuntu
2. Rebuild The Windows Boot Manager ie. create a brand new BCD to boot Windows 10.
3. Once done with steps 1 and 2 above. Windows will not know UBUNTU exists and vice versa.
   Depend on the priority set in the BIOS, it will boot directly into that OS.
   However, you can boot either one from Boot Menu (Using whatever key that your Laptop assigned to: F2, F10....)
   Since I hate Dual Boot and seldom boot into Linux, I will stop here.
   Now, go to step 4 to create dual boot.
4. Use Easy BCD to create an entry for dual boot with UBUNTU. Once done, you should get a nice GUI dual Boot Menu
   and it will boot directly into either Windows or UBUNTU.

Dual boot problem

Hi all.

I have an older PC that used to run XP. I upgraded it to Win 7 and have now upgraded to Win 10. I now want to make it a dual boot Win 10 system, using the second drive as a disaster recovery backup.

When I set up the dual boot Win XP / Win 7, the system put system boot files on the XP disk. Now I can't boot into Win 10 with that disk off line, nor can I format the XP disk to install Win 10 as it has running system files on it.

I have created a recovery USB flash drive but even after setting the boot devices in BIOS to boot from USB, it will not boot from the recovery disk. My next step is to create a recovery CD to see if that will work.

Any suggestions?
