  1. Dual boot Win 10 and Win 11 on separate M2 Drives

Have just bought a brand new WIndows 11 Asus Laptop with an M2 drive which I aim to keep, but want to install my old Win 10 M2 drive into the laptop and run a dual boot system. Win 11 on the new M2 and Win 10 from my old laptop on the old M2.The reason being - a lot of the older software I have to use has not been certified to run with Win 11, and from experience, will not.Is this possible, and how do I achieve this?

    :)

  2. Dual Boot Win 7/Win 10 from Separate Disk Drives

Recently, I installed a 250GB solid state drive (SSD) on my desktop computer. I run Windows 7 HPE on that system. I have registered that machine for Windows 10 free distribution and expect to receive it sometime over the next few weeks. I don't think
that the SSD has enough free space to install Win 10 alongside Win 7, and I want to continue to use Win 7 for a while until I become more familiar with Win 10. I'd also like to avoid the pain sometimes found by being an early adopter. So, my question is:
Can Windows 10 be installed on a hard drive separate from Win 7 and achieve a dual boot system? If so, could someone point me to an article or wiki that will tell me how to set up a dual boot machine with the OS's on different disk drives?

    TIA

Dual-boot Win10/7 or go back to Win 7

    This^^

I only use, or recommend, dual boot if a new/separate HD is out of the question. Way less hassle and potential problems.

Dual boot Win 10 and Win 11 on separate M2 Drives

Following an update from Win 10 to Win 11, I can no longer boot from the M2 NVME drive.

I have an Acer desktop with a sata HDD and a m2 NVME. The boot drive is the NVME. I was requested to update from Win 10 to Win 11. Following the update the pc only boots from the HDD. In the BIOS, the NVME is seen but not in the Boot Priority. There is no option to choose it, only the Sata HDD.

What do I need to do to get the NVME recognised as a boot drive. Thanks
