    Dual monitor colour calibration

I've been trying to figure this out for a decent amount of time and it's driving me nuts now. I have two identical brand and type of monitors, a Nvidia graphics card (1060) with the most up to date drivers (I already re-installed them). The monitors aren't aligned color-wise. Creating an icc calibration profile (through colour management in windows 10) and setting it as the default for the monitor I'm trying to adjust is temporary, it reverts very quickly. The system defaults are set to "use windows display calibration" and the monitor with the set profile is also set to "use my settings for this device"

What's preventing this "default" from being a default setting? How do I make this calibration permanent?

Sidenote, using the Nvidia control panel to adjust the desktop colour settings yields the same results when any colour adjustments are made. After applying, the change is temporary, a few seconds. Even when the Nvidia control panel is set to use Nvidia settings over other applications

    Thanks!

    :)

Dual monitor setup, Monitor #2 keeps losing color calibration.

Running dual monitors in Win 10 and when going through the Color calibration steps on monitor #2 (Control panel / Display / Calibrate color) the settings stick as long as the 2nd monitor is active.

If I switch to single display (Windows Key + P / PC Screen only) then the 2nd monitor loses its color calibration. Also anytime I reboot my PC (Even if I have both monitors active) the 2nd monitor loses my calibration.

The 2nd monitor has a fairly strong bias for the color Green so I can always tell right away.

I'm probably overlooking something and was hoping someone might of dealt with this before Dual monitor colour calibration :)

Fall Creators Update Colour Calibration Issue

Hello folks, first post on here.

My problem is the Fall Creators Update seems to have an issue with colour calibration - I have quite an old calibration tool by modern standards which is a Pantone Huey Pro, but it's worked perfectly from Windows 7 until the FC Update. Now the ICC profile won't stick and the screen is very bright with a magenta cast. I see other people are having problems with colour calibration with this update.

I've gone into Task Scheduler and tried disabling the Calibration Loader in 'Windows Colour System', then gone through the calibration procedure again as other forum posts have suggested, and all looks good until the moment comes to save the profile and exit the calibration procedure, then Windows reverts to the bright screen with magenta cast and loses the calibrated settings.

I'm a photographer so I'll need to get this sorted otherwise I can't accurately edit my photos. I've previously rolled back Windows but within days the FC Update forcibly installs again. Very frustrating!

    Can anyone help me please?

    Dual monitor colour calibration

    Calibrating monitor

I did the steps in the tutorial, but it didnt make any difference. Im using the default settings on my monitor, which is 70 contrast and 100 brightness. I cant really seem to get a good result using nvidias control panel. My monitor is too bright or too dark, and sometimes painful for my eyes.
