Windows 10: Dual-Monitor - exiting full screen on second monitor automatically transfers it to primary...

When i go Full screen on a video or anything on my web browser it goes from my 2nd monitor to my 1st monitor and then i have to drag it back to my 2nd monitorIt was working fine but now it just does this issue i have with it , it happens on Chrome, opera GX, Microsoft edge etc i dont know how to fix this

Another solution is to use a keyboard shortcut to exit full-screen mode, some browsers such as Chrome use the 'F11' key and some use 'ESC' key, you can try both of them.

Lastly, you can try to change the settings on your Windows to keep the application on the same screen where it was launched.

To change the settings on Windows to keep an application on the same screen where it was launched, follow these steps:

Open the Settings app by pressing the Windows key + I

Click on "System"

Select "Multitasking" from the left sidebar

Scroll down to the "Snap" section

Turn off the toggle switch next to "Snap windows to the edge of the screen"

As briefly explained in the title. When I am watching a youtube video on full screen on my second monitor and I exit out of the full screen. It automatically brings the whole browser to my main monitor. Kind of annoying but not doable. Hopefully, someone has a solution as I have thus far not been successful, unfortunately.

 

One Monitor running on a 2 monitor display, cant disable the second monitor. Help?

If you can't access the Display settings, it means that it appears on the second monitor which you don't have. This happens if Windows is not back to the primary desktop.
