    Dual monitor not recognized


    All of a sudden I cannot connect to my extra monitor. The monitor is on and the connection is there. Nothing has changed except it isn't being recognized.

    Windows 10 does not recognize dual monitors

    Upgraded 2 Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Operating System, before updating I had no issues with the Win 7 operating system recognizing Dual Monitors; now neither recognizes Dual Monitors.

    Hi,

    There are several factors which could prevent your dual monitors and your speakers from working properly. In order for us to effectively assist you with your concern, we just have a few questions for you:

    • Are you getting an error message/code when trying to run the dual monitors?
    • Have you tried running the hardware troubleshooter?
    • Have you tried running the System File Checker tool?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you already performed?

    Dual monitor not recognized windows 10

    Downloaded Windows 10 but my extended desktop Dell monitor is not recognized. It works fine with 7.

    Any suggestions?
