Windows 10: Dual Monitor Problems 24H2

I am experiencing a significant issue when sharing my screen while having two monitors connected to my pc on applications like Discord, Parsec, AnyDesk, etc. When I try to stream any game in full-screen mode, the image appears choppy, and the game's performance decreases significantly. Initially, i thought this might be due to a corrupted installation after upgrading from Windows 11 version 23H2 to 24H2, so i decided to perform a clean installation of Windows 24H2, but the problem persists.I consulted 3 friends who are also using Windows 11 version 24H2, and they experience the same issue. Dual Monitor Problem


Overall I'm delighted with Windows 10 but I have one relatively minor problem with my dual monitors. The taskbar on the second monitor won't auto-hide. It just sits there.

Any suggestions?

I am having more issues getting dual displays to function properly on W10. It seems to be two fold.
Resolution and PnP detection. Same two monitors on Win 7 machine work just fine.

Here is the setup.

• 4 Desktops.
• 3 run Win7 one runs Win10
• Startech KVM 4 port dual mon KVM switch. ( #1=1 DVI, #2=VGA )
• Two identical HP l2045W monitors.

Win 10 machine yesterday I dragged window over to #2 and it was much bigger. Checked an resolution had changed itself for some reason. I reset so they matched and then the #2 just went black.

Checked by switching to Win7 machine and it was fine. Monitors and KVM doing as they should.

When the win 10 machine boots mon #2 has warning from monitor that there is a resolution miss match and a few seconds later shuts off. I check settings and in Win 10 the resolution is set as is should be which matched the suggested resolution on the warning from monitor.

I check the device manager on both machines.

In Win 7 I have two PnP monitors as it should be. Win 10 it says I have one PnP and one non-PnP ?

As stated it is only Window 10 that appears to be brain dead with respect to dual monitors. Win 7 works fine every time. Why won't Win 10 recognize only one mon as PnP and is this the bug that's causing my problem when I switch with KVM?

Also...when I can get second screen working the mouse won't travel over.

( There are no updated drivers etc. for monitors )
