Windows 10: Dual monitor, second desktop via software not rendering?

How can I no longer render my second desktop with Windows 10? I have a TV as my second desktop and use it occasionally, but I often have it off. But it is still rendered by Windows 10, is there a way to switch it off without waving around (on & off switch) and without disconnecting the HDMI cable etc?

One Monitor running on a 2 monitor display, cant disable the second monitor. Help?

Hi,

If you can't access the Display settings, it means that it appears on the second monitor which you don't have. This happens if Windows is not back to the primary desktop.

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

Second monitor screen resolution problem
