    Dual Monitor Setup - Can only use one at a time


    I recently got an upgraded second monitor. I previously had my main monitor connected to my GPU with a DP cable and my second monitor connected to the GPU with a HDMI. This worked fine.Now when I connect my new second monitor via HDMI it only one shows at a time. If I make Windows 11 only show the main monitor then I can see that monitor but if I make Windows show an extended or duplicated setup then only the second monitor displays. The main monitor is not off while it is black, I can even drag tabs from the not displaying main monitor to the second monitor. Occasionally I'm not sure what tr

    Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

    Hi Yuri,

    To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
    and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

    There are several factors which could prevent your dual monitors and your speakers from working properly. In order for us to effectively assist you with your concern, we just have a few questions for you:

    • Are you getting an error message/code when trying to run the dual monitors?
    • Have you tried running the hardware troubleshooter?
    • Have you tried running the System File Checker tool?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you already performed?

    Dual Monitor Setup Issues

    I have a dual monitor setup that works fine once I go to Intel Graphics Settings > Display > Multiple Display > Detect. But every time I restart my PC I have to do those steps again to get it to work. How can I have my second monitor recognized by default
    on startup?
