Windows 10: Dual monitor to single monitor

New HP Envy Win 11 Computer. Single display, fine. Dual display, extended, fine with cursor going from screen to screen as normal. Main: Asus Hdmi 24" monitor. Added an AOC USB 15" USB 3 monitor. Using on a receptionist desk and she needs to see, converse with customers with 24" screen blocking too much view. Both monitors work beautifully in both extended and duplicated display format. Typical icons on one screen and just wallpaper on other with cursor travelling between in extended mode. Switching to duplicated mode, both monitors look the same. Both modes work normally! BUT . . . when HDMI

Dual monitor, Dual mouse??

• How have you setup dual monitors?
• Are you referring to use 2 different mouse/keyboard with the dual monitor setup?

If yes, the mouse or keyboard may function same as one another. Since, it has to be connected to single PC/tower.

However, setting up 2 different mouse/keyboard with the Dual- monitor setup, it may not function separately for each monitor.

Screen freeze after switching from dual monitor to single monitor

The freeze happens when I am switching from dual monitor to single monitor. I have updated drivers on my graphics card before to try and fix this problem. I have also disconnected my capture card before switching to single monitor(just the output to the switch and not the actual card to the USB port on my pc). I ONLY get this freeze from switching to single monitor from dual monitor and not during streaming.

 

Single monitor=no transparency in Start menu on dual monitor system

Hello, I can't find any information about this one so here it goes.

My Windows 10 is a dual monitor system and I don't get this problem when both monitors are enabled but when I game I disable the secondary display and then on the primary display the Start menu will lose transparency. It makes me sad.

I have installed color profiles for both displays and set them as primary profile for each one. I have also calibrated the color of both displays.

Primary display is AOC 2460 connected with DVI-D

Secondary display is Acer G246HL Connected with HDMI

Graphics card is Nvidia Gerforce 1050 TI 4GB and it has latest drivers

Operating system is Windows 10 Pro v. 1803 (OS-build 17.134.228)

Steps to reproduce:

• On dual monitor system disable secondary monitor
• Open Start menu and transparency will be lost

Additional information:

CPU overclocked with multiplier but was at Stock settings when OS was installed

GPU overclocked with Asus GPU Tweak II
