OK.. will keep it simple as initial post.. shout if you have questions.So.. Win 11 Pro.. fully patched .. 22631.4169Two monitors Benq which is GW2765 so 2560 x 1440 res default and a BENQ BL912 so 1280 x 1024Windows seems to correctly identify these in "system -> Display"So all good... HOWEVER... the background/wallpaper on main monitor looks fine standard Win 11 image .. but the wallpaper image on secondary image is wrong.. it displays the top left 25% of the main screen. The thing is, its erratic... sometimes it shows fine so shows the basic win 11 background on main screen and se

  2. Dual slide show on Dual monitors at different resolutions

    I have Windows 11 running on a dual monitor setup, but each monitor is a different size and native resolution. ie 3440 x 1440 21:9 ultra wide and a 4k 3840 x 3160 16:9.

I want to run two different wallpaper slide shows from different directories. I would have thought something simple like this would be possible with Windows 11. Does anyone know of third-party software that can do this?

    Dual Monitors Different "Sizes"

I have two 27" monitors that are are of the same physical size but of different resolutions - 1080p and 1440p. These are being run through an RTX3060Ti so max resolution supported is 7680x4320, way above what I am displaying.

When I open display and set them to their native resolutions they show as different size boxes. This creates two main issues for me:

    1. Screen alignment is out. With the digital tops aligned the digital bottom of the 1080p monitor is roughly 1/4 up from the digital bottom of the 1440p. The physical top and bottom are in line.
    2. Dual screen background pictures are all sorts of misaligned/scaled
Ignoring my portrait reading monitor on the right, I am referring to Displays 3 & 1.

Am I missing a setting here or doing something silly as I cannot seem to get these to align short of changing monitor 1 to 1080p (then they all size correctly)

Dual slide show on Dual monitors at different resolutions

Hello Luke. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

    1) Here's how to have separate wallpapers on each monitor in Windows 11:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/pcq...

    https://www.msftnext.com/how-to-set-a-different...

    2) You can also set different resolution, scaling and refresh rate for multi-monitors:

    https://www.howtogeek.com/304036/how-to-adjust-...

    3) Finally, The Display driver is so important here that merely updating it might not be enough. Try everything here to make sure:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.
