Windows 10: Dual Screen constantly reconnecting & disconnecting on startup

I recently built a new PC and when I connect a second monitor, my monitors start turning black. The other connected monitor starts disconnecting and connecting detected by sound notification it beeps while the cables are fully functional, vga cables are connected from the monitors and led to the GPU as hdmi using a reducer functional. at the same time, if I connect only one of the two, it works, but when I connect two, they start flashing they disconnect and connect. As another option, I tried to connect using the Display port and hdmi cable to the TV, so one of the monitors with the T

I rather recently upgraded from my old single screen setup to a dual screen setup, but since then I have been running into an issue on startup:

When I boot my primary screen starts up, but my secondary screen seems to constantly connect and disconnect at a rapid rate, which is only indicated by its status LED turning off and on rapidly and the windows "connected/disconnected" sound playing all the
time. This also resets the mouse cursor to the middle of the screen, rendering the pc workstation unusable until the issue is fixed.

My current workaround is as follows:

Before booting, disconnect the display port cable from my main screen. Boot. Both screens stay dark. Press enter and my login pin. After logging in wait until my desktop is viewable on my secondary screen. Now I can reconnect the display port cable to my
primary screen and everything works. Obviously this is far from ideal.

Only turning off the primary screen power during bootup does not fix the issue, I have to physically disconnect the display port cable.

The reason why I assume it's an issue with Windows/Windows drivers is because I have a dual boot setup and when I boot into Manjaro I have no issues whatsoever with my screens.

I did update my graphics card drivers and uninstall and reinstall these as well, but no luck.

Possibly relevant Hardware:

Graphics card: Radeon RX580

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

Primary Screen : BenQ XL2411P 144Hz monitor, connected via Display Port

Secondary Screen: Generic Medion Screen, 60 Hz, from a super market connected via DVI

Hi Paul,

thanks again for taking the time to look into the issue for me so thoroughly.

I could not switch the connections between my primary and secondary screen, as the primary screen uses a display port and that is not supported by my secondary screen. Instead I decided to connect my secondary screen with HDMI instead of DVI only to find
that now I had no image whatsoever on my secondary monitor. I verified beforehand that the HDMI cable was fully functional.

After reconnecting everything the exact same way as before I wanted to make sure I did not break something permanently and rebooted and my issue was gone. I have no idea what ultimatetly fixed it, my guess is the disconnecting and reconnecting of my cables,
despite me connecting them the same way in the same ports as before.

I've rebootet 5 times so far, but the issue stayed fixed all the time. I'm not sure if it may come back at some point, but for now things seem fixed.

I could still upload the new .nfo, but as the issue is fixed I doubt there's any reason to do so.

If it's of interest to anyone viewing this topic later, none of the troubleshooters found any issues to fix.

I guess I will have to look if the issue comes back at some point from here on out, but for now I'll mark your latest answer as the one to fix it and wanted to say thank you a lot for your in depth help!

I did test the advice in the link you provided, but it did not fix any issues with the screens on startup.

As for the other files:

I do not seem to have a .dmp file, which makes sense as the dmp file is created upon a crash, but the pc boots and I do not get a bluescreen, it just does not work as intended. I could purposefully crash my pc on startup to create such a file, but that would
just create a new issue and not the one I am seeking to fix.
