Windows 10: Dual screen setup stopped working

Discus and support Dual screen setup stopped working in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hello, I had a dual screen setup working without any problem.     Dual screen setup stopped working


    Hello,


    I had a dual screen setup working without any problem. One monitor is asus VG27Q1R the other one is DELL U2518D. Graphic card is amd 5700xt.

    More than a month ago I contacted asus support to request the display widget lite program, which allow to change brightness from that program. They sent me a version yesterday and after installing it I keep having problems. Even though I am not sure that it is really the source.


    I uninstall that program. rolled back graphic driver, re-installed the new one. It does not seem to work.


    Both devices are working properly while connected separately with monitor drivers displaying correctly but when both devices are connected, monitor driver switch to upnp, only the asus set a display 1 is showing and no second screen is detected.


    I don't know what else to do...

    Can't get dual screens setup.


    Bad start to Anniversary update - messed up my dual screen setup.
    I used to have my two screens setup so I could run different programs on them. Now I can only have the same thing on both. No point in having two screens. Settings allows me to set same on both or only on 1 (or 2). In practice whatever I set defaults to same on both.

    I have a nVidia Quatro video card.

    Any suggestions?

    Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

    Hi Yuri,

    To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
    and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.
