Windows 10: Dualshock 4 not recognized by games

My Dualshock 4 stopped being recognized by games. It detects just fine in the OS, and it also works in Xinput wrappers such as DS4windows and InputMapper, but natively I can't get it to work. I've tried using it with games I know support it that worked just fine before, but they don't work at all now without an Xinput wrapper.

I've tried looking up this problem online, and the only answers I see are "use an Xinput wrapper" but I don't want that, I want to use it natively on games that support it. I've tried uninstalling the drivers and it still doesn't work. Can someone help me out?

Try troubleshooting without the emulator. Uninstall and restart PC first.
