Windows 10: Duet Display on Windows 11

Hello,I am running Microsoft Windows 11 and a message cameup to update Duet Display along with updates for Windows 11. I accepted the installation of the updates, and after a fewminutes of installation, the computer froze up.I tried to restart it, however, I got the blue Windows logoand I cannot get back to my desktop.I have tried some suggestions within the forums, such asBooting in safe mode, etc. however, none of that worked I am stranded and would appreciate suggestions/help onhow to resolve this.Thanks in advance for your help.Best, Raj

Right click that Duet Display and select Properties

How did Duet just show up on my computer? In Outlook mail yesterday it asked if I wanted it and I said no, but it is there this morning.

Is Duet Display a Microsoft Update

I found the same Duet installed on my Windows 11 PC this morning. When I started to use the computer it said my device had a problem and had to restart, and it restarted. I had also gotten an update from Microsoft on a Defender definition, so that may have been the reason for the restart.

I have uninstalled Duet because my My digital tablet pen was hesitating when starting to paint on Corel Painter. After uninstalling and restarting the problem remains, so I'm not sure that Duet was the cause. Could Defender's new definition have any affect on performance?

I am mystified by why Duet was installed since I haven't downloaded anything from the web in quite a while.

I am also confused by Defender. I see that it is running on my system, but if I go to apps and click on Defender I'm told that I have to subscribe to Office 365 to use it. What is that about?
