Windows 10: Dull Brightness

Discus and support Dull Brightness in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I installed the May 2020 update but after that i am facing a brightness issue i.e the screen appears to be dull in my laptop.     Dull Brightness


    I installed the May 2020 update but after that i am facing a brightness issue i.e the screen appears to be dull in my laptop. Can anyone suggest methods to fix this issue.

    Dull screen needs help

    Bulldogxx I tried both ways suggested the article that offered step by step and neither system solved the dull colors, dull screen problem. All they did was rearrange my desktop. Any other suggestions?

    Sorry about the sassy rejoinder to your sassy remark, I think they are both funny now that I am old and don't take myself seriously.

    Change screen brightness

    My laptop screen is dull. Need to make it brighter. However the suggestion --> Start - Settings - System - Brightness and color

    does not work. It is already set to max. brightness but there is no reaction. Screen remains dull. By the way there is no change if I move slide to minimum brightness, it would not change brightness level at all. Any suggestion?
