    Dummy DP does not save resolution setting.


    I am using a dummy DP plug to run a headless remote pc with Parsec. 1920*1080@60Hz is the recommended setting shown in windows display settings. Every time I connect to the PC, the display is set to 2560*1600@30Hz. Even after manually setting the display to 1920*1080@60Hz I've tried doing this with windows display settings and Nvidia control pannel, the resolution will revert to 2560*1600@30Hz the next time I connect. Updating or reinstalling display/graphics does not help. What might be a potential cause of this problem? Any possible solutions?

    Screen Resolution too big

    Hello,

    Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

    I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
    • Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

    Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.

    Please follow the steps on how to change the screen resolution:

    • Right-click on your desktop.
    • Click Display settings.
    • On the lower part of the Customize your display window, click Advanced display settings.
    • Choose the resolution you want to use, then click Apply to save the changes.
