Windows 10: duplcate drive entries in navigation plane

I got rid of, but the problem returned, the "duplicate drive listing in the navigation plane" where my flash drive appears twice instead of one icon in the navigation plane. I followed the exact same instructions that worked last time, but ran into a snag this time. The path I followed was : in run box, go to : HKEY_LOCAL _MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ ------------ and here is where the snag is ---- it does not offer the \Explorer\ choice, so I can not go on to the rest of the instructions. I even went to the web to see if they had changed the instruct

Can't get rid of a network entry in W10 navigation panel

If you wish to remove/delete a network entry on Windows 10 navigation pane, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open a command prompt.
• In the command prompt, type-in the command below and press Enter.
  
  NOTE: Substitute Z: in the command below with the actual drive letter of the mapped network drive that you want to remove from your computer window.
  
  net use Z: /delete
  
  
• When you're done, close the command prompt. The mapped network drive should now be removed from your Computer window.

  Are you referring to Airplane mode by plane mode?

  Have you made any changes to computer settings prior to this issue?
  

Try these steps to disable the Airplane mode.

Step 1: Open Settings, and select or tap on the
Network & Internet icon.

Step 2. Select or tap on Airplane mode on the left side to turn
on or off Airplane mode on the right side.
