Windows 10: Duplicate entries in Windows 10 calendar events system tray systray

Hi there. For at least a year I have noticed that when using the Microsoft Calendar app with my company's O365 Outlook account I eventually start to see duplicate entries in the lower right system tray systray area like this... Notice 4 duplicate events here.





If I remove all accounts and start over, the problem is resolved BUT only for a few days or so. Duplicate entries start to show up again. I have looked all over the net to find a solution for this but the best I could come up with is someone else who is experiencing the same thing, no solution. I find this systray display of my daily events to be very useful but it's annoying that I have to reconfigure the Calendar app often to avoid seeing all the duplicates.


To avoid confusion I want to be clear that I'm using the native Calendar app in Windows 10 to populate my daily events. This is Calendar app icon from the Start menu...

Calendar app shows duplicate events


Hi,

I've been experiencing a problem with the Windows 10 Calendar app - it shows duplicate events.
I'm using a Microsoft account (Outlook.com) and have it configured on the computer. Mail app Works ok and syncs. Calendar App shows duplicate events. If I access the same calendar on Outlook.com the calendar shows OK with no duplicates. On another computer with the same Setup the calendar does not show duplicates, Works as expected so this seems a problem confined to this one computer only.

This Windows 10 instalation is about a month old (installed from scratch - no upgrade from 8) and has all published MS updates instaled and also all app updates.

Have tried to uninstall the Calendar app, rebooted, reinstall the app, but duplicates persist.

Any ideas? Thank you.

 

How to delete duplicate calendar entries on N8?

Hi,

I recently added a .ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.

Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.

Windows Phone Calendar has duplicate facebook entries

I use the Facebook app published by Microsoft. It duplicated my FB Calendar entries. I removed the FB app and installed it again. The newly added Calendar entries where now singles as they should be.
