    Hi, this question must have been asked many times! How to find and remove duplicate files safely in Windows 10! Ideally a program that actually finds and removes these files automatically would be ideal, but is there one that someone would recommend? I have run the "search for duplicate files in CCLEANER" but I am a little hesitant knowing if to delete or not! I would have thought that Windows would have a built-in program to do this they seem to have most things!!Any suggestions?BrianWindows 10 21H2

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    How to remove duplicate files in Windows 10.

    Thank you for the suggestion. I need to see a list of duplicate files and select those I want to eliminate. Does the program you suggested compare file content or do they simply point out duplicate
    file names?
