Windows 10: Duplicate games

Discus and support Duplicate games in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Does anyone know why i have duplicate games.     Does anyone know why i have duplicate games. It takes up so much extra space I have 1 game in "InstalledApps" And the same game in my XboxGames Folder. I have Windows 10 and a ssd of 1tb.

    Hi Cameron,

    Apologize for the delayed reply.

    You may try to run the in-built Windows Store app troubleshooter and check if the duplicate games/icons are still displayed or not. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.
    Get back for further help.

    Duplicate Games in Games folder - Windows 10

    Does anyone know why I would have duplicate games listed in my games folder via the Start Menu?

    I am worried that if I remove one (duplicate) of them from the folder itself, it will remove the entire game, and I don't want that to happen. Please help!

    Duplicate Games in Games folder - Windows 10

    I am having the same problem with duplicate entries in my games folder. There is no option to just delete one of the icons when right-clicking. If you right click over one of the icons it gives you the option to uninstall, but I do not want to uninstall
    the game - I just want to get rid of the duplicate icons. Also, when you open the games folder, there is only one instance of each game listed in that folder.

    Any assistance with this would be appreciated.
