Windows 10: duplicate segoe emojis fonts + won't let me uninstall one!!!

okay so i installed some windows 10 emojis after uninstalling the windows 11 ones when i got a new computer last year. big mistake. sure the emojis look better but they're not updated! so in certain places i just see a black square. lame! so i reinstalled windows so i could get the windows 11 ones again... that didn't do anything, i still saw the windows 10 ones instead of the windows 11, so i tried to follow some instructions on uninstalling windows 10's emojis just now. you would think that would work, but alas, it says that the font is currently in use when i try to delete it. i dont know w

missing icons and duplicated emoji font

I have a problem with emoji and Windows icons, I installed another version of Segoe UI by mistake, and I deleted a file of its fonts by mistake, which caused some of the Windows icons not to be displayed, and a square was displayed instead. and also in the emoji picker, the preview of emoji is different from the original emoji



Now my question is, how can I completely delete these Segoe UI fonts and reinstall the latest version to solve my problem?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Emojis and all UI icons in Windows 10 and 11 are part of the Segoe font family installed by default, you can probably install that font family into an apple device, but I do not believe you can swap them for the default Apple Color Emojis.

The best option would be to post this question to the Apple forum someone there may have a method to change the default Emoji font in the Apple OS
