Windows 10: Duplicate Sign-Ins, Single User

Hello all,



On start, the sign-in screen has error message saying the password is wrong. This sign-in is using an icon with my username. If I type in my windows password, it works normally. However, there is another option to sign-in using my image and the same username. If I select it, I only type in my pin. So either method works, but I don't know why this just started happening computer is several years old and why it wants a pin or password anyway when I have turned it all off.


This is what I've done so far,

1. Using NETPLWIZ, I verified there is only user and that the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" is unchecked.
2. I have also verified the "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart" is unchecked in SETTINGS Sign-In Options.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreaciated!

• Are you trying to access a browser and getting an issue on autosave or remember sign is unable to prompt?

Duplicate user name at login

Hello,

I've repeated those steps with the same results. It tries to auto login with a duplicate account first but fails with an incorrect password. When I try the first account and enter the same password I set I log in with no problem. The duplicate account disappears when I disable auto log in. The problem seems to be this second account even when I enter my user name and password it's incorrect? How could that be? It's the same name as the first one it's very confusing.

saved sign-ins

every update changes something...ie; now where is saved sign in-ins. I have to sign into every sight each time.
