  1. Duplicate software entries in Volume Mixer

    The problem is as stated in the title.

    In this specific case, only Firefox is appearing as a duplicate, but I have seen other programs duplicating themselves like this in the Volume Mixertho, never to this degree, which is why I'm posting now, Spotify being another software which tends to do this.

    I have an external sound card from Creative, Sound Blaster something something Model SB1240 and the drivers it came with. Have not found any similar issues by means of googling, so I am uncertain whether to post it here or elsewhere, but here is a good place to start regardless.

    EDIT:
    The duplicate entries did not disappear after closing Firefox.

    :)

    Duplicate software entries in Volume Mixer

    Volume Mixer - change link in traybar

    i bring back the old volume mixer with the following registry entry on win10:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\MTCUVC]

    "EnableMtcUvc"=dword:00000000

    i want to change the link for the volume mixer icon in the taskbar.

    By default the following sound mixer opens:

    sndvol.exe -f

    But i like to open...

    sndvol.exe

    with a single click on the volume mixer icon.

    Anybody know's where i can find the registry key or start entry?

    Kind Regards
