Windows 10: "Duplicated comment detected" message only when posting an outside link?

Split from this thread. Whenever I post an outside link even if it's relevant to the article it will always say "Duplicate comment detected' no matter what but if I remove the outside link I no longer get that message and the comment goes thru. Why doesn't it just tell me that outside links prohibited or something along those lines instead of a false message? Are outside links really not allowed if so why? With MS throwing everything to AI surely they would use the same AI to 'scrape' the link data to see if the link is harmful especially if it's from brand known sources.

Outside links give weird error message despite nothing in the rules?

My post isn't blocked if I remove the outside link. When I include the link it will always say 'Duplicate comment' even though it's not. I haven't been able once to post an outside website to give reference to a topic and Microsoft never EVER looks at feedback which I'm sure all feedback goes to a hidden spam box so they don't have to see it.

 

Comments and tags not saved or disappears

Could you please answer few question:

  Are you not able to see the Comments section in the file or the comment is missing for the MP3 file in the file section?
  

If the Comment section is missing, I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Right click on the categories where you see the file section and click on more and scroll down and check on Comments section and check if it helps.

And issues with Microsoft Word 2010, suggest you to post your query in on the below link and check if it helps.

Comment posting

Thank you for your suggestion but the action did not solve the problem; the comment still comes up as an “error” on Edge but not on IE which works OK.

I have had another go and it has worked - I originally cleared the "cached data and files" only but one needs to clear the first three items on the list - again many thanks.
