Windows 10: During a system reset I received a profile setup error and want to remove the temp profile...

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 22H2 OS build 19045.2788 Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0 I have a little confusion about User Profiles. Since a reset where I kept files and programs, I had an error pop up saying had a problem creating profile at end of reset. Now it seems it created a temporary profile and I want to remove it or rename it or make it my system profile. The temp profile name is HOTLOAD\bradk_u6xogrg, which it should be HOTLOAD\BradK. The temp profile is all set up how I like things but am afraid if I do something wrong I will have to go thru and make all these changes agai

I am facing the problem of temp profile login. I followed few steps stated in the websites like removing .bak from your SID. but it doesn't work. Still my profile is logging in to temp profile.

Please do suggest some solution

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
