During a Windows 11 update on my laptop, I need to enter my Bitlocker recovery key but my keyboard only allows me to input numbers and not letters. Help please!

Bitlocker Recovery Key Question

I use bitlocker on a old windows 10 pro laptop. I will not be using this laptop. I now use bitlocker on a windows 11 pro laptop and this is going to be my main laptop. I have the bitlocker recovery key for both laptops on a usb flash drive. It is safe to save these recovery key to dropbox/gmail? Because if someone has access to my bitlocker recovery key, they still need the physical windows laptop in order to access it right? Now I read people store their bitlocker recovery key in the microsoft account. Do most do that? Do people here do it with a usb flash drive? The issue here is if you put it in a usb flash drive, don't you need to encrypt it? Because if your laptop is there and also the flash drive, well someone can just enter the bitlocker recovery key and bypass the password? So best location to putt he bitlocker recovery key? Should it be 2 places? Should it be encrypted? If so, what encryption?

1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key? - Yes, I am unable to even start my laptop unless I enter the recovery key.
2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer? Nope
3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key? Yes. I have a microsoft account and am able to login usually. But i am unable to login when I try to find the bitlocker recovery key.
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional? Windows 10 Home

When I on my laptop, there is a blue screen that asks me for bitlocker recovery key. I have tried asking my laptop company (Lenovo) and my institution both but no one has any answer to this. I have my bitlocker recovery ID number if that can help me find
the recovery key.

Pc saying enter bitlocker recovery key after updating to 23H2

I have a Lenovo laptop running on windows 11 home. I just updated my laptop to windows 23H2 but now is is showing to enter bitlocker recovery key and j don't have it because i didn't create this bitlocker by myself. I am unable to use my pc please help me
